Hi, I’m Paula.

I am an EMCC Accredited Coach and have a MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology.

I love watching people work out what they want and design their path to get themselves there. I am able to create a calm, safe space where clients can take the time they need to explore whatever it is they want to focus on.

ABOUT ME

EXPERIENCE

I am a coach, a mother, a friend, a cook, a photographer, an outdoor swimmer and many other things.

I have a background in photography and in public and occupational health, working on healthy lifestyle promotion.

I’ve worked in a range of areas and studied a number of disciplines, and Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology tie everything together - all of my work, from creating photo stories for magazines to devising public health campaigns around alcohol and running health events for banks and insurance companies in the City of London, has been about exploring how people live, witnessing, listening and communicating.

I love learning. And for me, coaching is another form of learning – about other people, about what works, what makes people feel good, feel well. I learn something new from every coaching session.

MY COACHING

I have worked with a wide range of people, from a designer who wanted to change career to a midlife mother who wanted to make lifestyle changes. I have coached 15 year old school children figuring out what direction to take after GCSEs and adults who felt a bit stuck.

At the core of all my coaching is the idea that we already have the solutions within ourselves and coaching helps us to find them.

I use person-centred and integrated coaching processes and techniques, including elements from positive psychology, cognitive-behavioural, and solution-focused approaches.
